Losing the receipt does not lock you out of the Lowe’s sweepstakes. The official rules carry a free postal entry that needs no receipt, no ID and no purchase.
That is the short answer. The longer answer is that you have three options, and only one of them reliably works.
Option one, the postal entry
This is the one that always works. Hand-print your details on a card four inches by five and post it to the sweepstakes administrator at PO Box 0368, Falmouth, MA 02556-0368.
Hand-print means handwritten, not typed and printed out. The rules are specific about that.
One card is one entry for that monthly period. Twelve chances across the year means twelve separate cards.
Almost nobody bothers, which is odd given that it costs a stamp and carries exactly the same weight in the drawing as an entry from a $900 decking receipt.
Option two, getting a copy of the receipt
Lowe’s can often look up a past transaction, particularly if you paid by card or the purchase went through a MyLowe’s account.
Customer service at the store, or the number on lowes.com, is where that request goes. Take the card you paid with and a rough date.
Be realistic about the timing though. Even if a reprint arrives, the 7 day survey window runs from the original transaction date, so a copy retrieved two weeks later is no use for the survey.
A reprint is worth chasing for a return or a warranty claim. For the sweepstakes, the postal card is faster.
Option three, the email receipt
If you gave an email address at the till or ordered online, check your inbox before you do anything else.
Search the sender for lowes and widen the date range. Emailed receipts sometimes carry the survey block, sometimes not.
If yours has an 18-digit ID on it and the purchase was within the last week, you are back in business.
What will not work
Guessing the number. It is 18 digits and the survey validates it against a real transaction, so there is nothing to brute force.
Using someone else’s receipt is also a dead end worth naming. The rules limit entry to one per person and per email address each month, and a prize goes to one household across the whole period.
Any site offering you a working Lowe’s survey code is not doing you a favour. Codes are single use and tied to a real purchase.
Questions about entering without a receipt
Can Lowe’s reprint a receipt?
Often yes, especially for card payments. It helps with returns, but it rarely arrives inside the 7 day survey window.
Does the postal entry have worse odds?
No. Entries go into the same monthly drawing regardless of how they arrived.
Do I need to buy anything to send a card?
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. That is stated on the receipt itself and in the official rules.
Can I send several cards in one envelope?
Read the current rules before trying. Entry limits are per person and per monthly period, and bulk mailing is the kind of thing that gets entries disqualified.
